As the Minerva Institute's Board Chair and Executive Director, Ernest brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Defense, IT, and Energy sectors. His primary expertise within the institute is focused on the areas of AI strategy, ethics, and risk. His strategic insights and innovative approaches are instrumental in shaping our organization's AI research goals and critical industries support agenda.

Prior to founding the institute, Ernest was already an established internationally recognized senior executive and speaker with a proven track-record in strategy, business operations, M&A, and risk management within the cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, energy, and defense/intelligence sectors. A fellow at both CS2AI and the TBI Institute, his advisory and academic experience includes US & international governments and corporations, multiple industry/academic boards, and undergraduate/graduate level course development and instruction in the university environment.
